What we need
As one of the contacts responsible for day-to-day management of the membership categories, you will be playing an important part in working toward the wider business goal of retaining and recruiting new members. Supported by the Membership Manager, you will work within the frameworks of our Sales and Marketing strategies to help communicate the benefits of membership of the NFU. To carry out the role to the best of your ability, you will need to possess knowledge of the food and farming industry and experience working successfully in a membership-focused environment.
You should have experience in planning and executing projects, along with well-developed general office admin skills. A working knowledge of basic sales and marketing principles, as well as knowledge of website administration and magazine publishing would be advantageous.
You will need to be proactive to develop relationships with stakeholders (both internally and externally) and confident in using this knowledge to benefit our products. You should be experienced in using databases to evaluate information, and able to identify via research opportunities for expansion and or development.
