Election 2012 candidate - Paul Temple

12 Jan 2012

Paul TemplePaul Temple is standing for the position of NFU Deputy President and NFU Vice President.

As a third generation cattle and arable farmer, agriculture is in my blood.

In today’s turbulent economic times it has a renewed purpose, driving my desire to be re-elected. I want to bring my years of NFU experience here and in Europe, three as VP, and my passion for all types of farming to the challenges we face.

I have the enthusiasm and determination to approach any problem and the ability to see change as an opportunity.

At a critical point in the CAP, my outlook is firmly on the future; the obstacles we need to overcome and the demands of the next generation.

I know the NFU is the most professional farming organisation in Europe and know too what can be achieved as an office holder. This is why, as a farmer, I want to be part of the leadership team which champions world class farming in the UK.
