The NFU is re-launching its popular standard legal agreements following feedback from thousands of members.
‘Model Clauses’ are free and exclusive professionally prepared specimen contracts designed for a range of agricultural, horticultural and rural business agreements. They are also a vital business tool and can save members time, money and costly mistakes when formalising common farming business arrangements.
The guides are written by legal specialists and are continually updated to cover a range of subjects. The first ones to be drawn up include partnership agreements, grazing licences, horse livery and hire of a bull while farm business tenancy agreements, hire of farm machinery and fishing rights will be coming soon.
The agreements are available to download from NFU Online or from NFU CallFirst on 0870 845 8458.
NFU head of membership Huw Hilditch-Roberts said: “We are constantly striving to meet the needs of our members by providing them with exclusive member only benefits which add value to their businesses.
“We also provide our members with an ever increasing variety of everyday documentation to assist in the running of their business.”
