A new website has been launched to mark the 2009 NFU conference themed around ‘The new agenda for farming’. Videos, picture galleries, speeches and news will be added to the site live as the event unfolds at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in February and all information gathered will remain live throughout the year as an archive of conference coverage. NFU vice president Paul Temple said: “Coverage of the NFU conference has been so popular over the past few years that we decided to launch a whole new website dedicated to it. It is an excellent way of showcasing this event which is important, not only in the NFU’s calendar, but also as a key forum for agriculture and its future strategy.” Notes to editors 1. The NFU Conference - The New Agenda for Farming – will take place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham on February 16 and 17 2009. 2. The conference attracts over 1,000 delegates and a raft of high profile speakers every year.
