Following intensive discussions between the NFU and British Sugar UK, a price for 2010/11 has now been set.
It has been agreed that all contracted tonnage will be paid at £26/tonne, with an additional £1/tonne added to the transport allowance fund, provided agreement is reached on a longer term framework.
