Following concerns raised at NFU Council, President Peter Kendall has written to the farming minister Jim Fitzpatrick on SPS issues.
These include those still waiting for pre-2009 claims to be ‘corrected’, delays in completing 2009 payments despite good initial progress, arrangements for the 2010 Hill Farming Allowance where 2009 SPS monies are outstanding, Rural Land Register mapping and the mapping of common land for Uplands ELS.
