Members can now read our response to Defra's consultation on the Draft Animal Health Bill.
The Bill includes plans for responsibility and cost-sharing on disease outbreaks and was described by NFU President Peter Kendall as "one of the most important issues the industry has had to face for a long time" when it was unveiled last year. The NFU submission follows an exercise to gather member views and represents the current position of the NFU Council.
