The EU High Level Forum for a better functioning food supply chain was established by the European Commission in July 2010, charged with assisting the Commission in drawing up industrial policy in the agro-food sector.
The NFU has been contributing to the work of the HLF via the EU farming umbrella organisation, Copa-Cogeca, and through Defra.
