CAP Reform - The proposals on direct payments presentation

21 Oct 2011
Your NFU team will be travelling around the country to present the Commission’s proposal to members. Many elements of the package are concerning the NFU and it is very important we hear directly from members how the proposals will impact at a farm level.

Click on the attachment to the right to view a copy of the presentation that the team will be giving.

Having to grow three seperate crops on a medium sized holding is crazy and not economical! Think of many dairy farmers growing 50 acres of maize (do they have to grow three crops?) An arable farmer with 200 acres who finds it economical to grow one crop will now have to grow three! Madness
