NFU President Peter Kendall will be among the expert voices when the Efra Select Committee holds its first oral evidence session on the EU Commission’s controversial plans for ‘greening’ the Common Agricultural Policy (from midday).
Mr Kendall joins Prof Charles Godfray, of Oxford University and representatives of the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) and Tenant Farmers Association (TFA) on today’s agenda.
Witnesses tomorrow include Prof Tim Benton of the University of Leeds, Natural England, the RSPB and The Wildlife Trusts. Find out more here.
