NFU position statement: SPS exchange rate update.

Currency exchange rates are important to farmers and growers. Their relevance in determining the value of EU direct support payments that are received by most farmers has been highlighted following the confirmation of SPS exchange rate on September 30th. However, currency also has a significant effect on the price that farm goods will be sold for abroad as well as the cost of imported goods, whilst a proportion of farm inputs are also impacted.
