The world's leaders met in Copenhagen last year to try to reach agreement on tackling climate change.
The talks hoped to agree a successor to the Kyoto Protocol and so set greenhouse gas emissions targets for both developed and some developing/emerging economies.
There was also discussion on how developing countries could be helped to both reduce their emissions and adapt to the impacts of climate change.
Many organisations including the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organsiation) and IFAP (International Federation of Agricultural Producers) have been calling for the role of agriculture to be recognised within the new global agreement as part of the solution to climate change.
