Farmers and growers can have their say on nutrient management and put themselves in the running for a top barium pH testing kit.
That’s the valuable prize up-for-grabs in Tried & Tested’s online survey, which aims to improve the nutrient management advice given to farmers.

Launched in March last year, the Tried & Tested nutrient management plan aims to help farmers and growers plan their fertiliser and manure use, meet increasingly regulatory demands and reduce environmental risks. Tried & Tested co-ordinator Rebecca Wells said: “The nutrient management plan is nearing its second birthday so this is a good chance to find out exactly what we can do to improve it and also see how farmers are using the tools.”
As well as the website, which features blogs from top crop consultant Dr Ian Richards, free memory sticks and hard copies of the plan have been handed out to 19,000 farmers up and down the country.
Tried & Tested is run by an industry-team which includes the NFU, FWAG, LEAF, AIC and the CLA.
