Digestate and Compost in Agriculture – Knowledge Exchange Events
As part of WRAP's Digestate & Compost in Agriculture project, events for farmers and advisers have been taking place at knowledge exchange hubs across Britain, centred on agricultural colleges and university departments.
NFU staff attended two of these events recently and feedback from all attendees was generally positive. More information on the project can be found on the WRAP website.
The events generally consisted of a morning seminar with 3-4 speakers, followed by an afternoon visit to either an AD facility, field experiment site, or composting facility and were free to attend for farmers, growers, agronomists and students.
