Time is running short to have your say on two major NFU surveys.
First up we’re asking our members how much water they use, what they do to conserve it and how they think climate change will affect resources.
The NFU Water Survey takes place every five years and is particularly apt this time around following one of the driest springs on record. The better the data we get, the stronger our lobbying arguments.
The book closes at the end of the week - find out more and take part online here.
Meanwhile the target date for returning submissions to our Harvest Survey 2011 is Monday September 11, although contributions from those with later harvested crops are welcome up to September 26.
We’ll then take the data and incorporated it with Scotland's crop survey to produce the first UK harvest estimate, published up to a month before Defra’s official statistics.
