Government Response to the Consultation on Schedule 9 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.   

Defra and the Welsh Assembly Government have just published their response to the public consultation on amendments to Schedule 9 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The NFU responded to the consultation on schedule 9 species in January 2008 and the Government’s response has now been published. A NFU brief outlining the key points is now available.
