Briefing: Common land and SPS claims

04 Oct 2011

The NFU is responding to a number of reports from members in England who have received a letter from the RPA notifying them that penalties may be applied to a result of the member claiming a parcel of land on Part C of the SPS form, when the land is in fact common land.

We’ve made a briefing available to the right of this page (requires log-in).

The briefing sets out guidance for members on how common land is dealt with on SPS application forms, the next steps for members who have received such a letter from the RPA and where members can go for further assistance.
