Natural England is running a series of half-day workshops, aimed at providing free advice and information to farmers renewing ELS agreements.
There have been a number of changes made to the ELS/OELS schemes which may affect the options you wish to choose for your new agreement, and these events will cover the following topics:
• How to apply for your new ELS agreement
• ELS options including new options and popular options for arable land
• ELS and the Campaign for the Farmed Environment
• Renewing your ELS agreement online
BASIS and NRoSO Environment points will be available and the workshops will be held at the following locations:
• Wednesday 17 February: Shuttleworth College, near Bedford
• Wednesday 24 February: Writtle College, near Chelmsford
• Friday 26 February: Ecotech Centre, Swaffham
• Monday 1 March: NFU Newmarket
• Tuesday 2 March: Rothamsted Conference Centre, Hertfordshire
• Monday 8 March: Ransoms Europark, Holiday Inn, Ipswich
• Tuesday 9 March: East of England Showground, Peterborough
• Thursday 11 March: Easton College, Norwich
• Friday 12 March: NFU Newmarket
