NFU Cumbria County Adviser Mike Sanderson said: "It has taken some five months but meetings have been arranged will all six MPs within the county representing all three of the leading English political parties and every MP who we have met has been more than happy to sign the NFU’s post referendum pledge.
There has been more than a useful dialogue with them all and every one of them has stated they are more than happy to meet with the NFU again as Brexit develops further.
"The only disappointing aspect of the whole operation has been Copeland’s MP Jamie Reed to make either of the two meetings we've arranged in his constituency. We'll notify members once this meeting is firmly in his diary."
