Cornwall

The Cornwall Farm Business Awards 2016 recognise and celebrate the hard work and dedication of farmers in Cornwall. Nomination forms are available to download at http://bit.ly/cwll_farm_biz.

The award categories are:

  • Best Young Farmer
  • Best Woman in Farming
  • Best Green Farmer
  • Best Farming Champion
  • Best Dairy Farmer
  • Best Farm Processor
  • Best Commercial Farmer.

If you are a farmer, you can nominate yourself or ask your banker; solicitor; vet or a supplier to nominate you. Suppliers are welcome to nominate their clients. The awards will conclude with a dinner using Cornish produce at the Pavilion Centre, Royal Cornwall Showground on 25 February 2016.


Devon

Organisers are hoping the 2016 Devon Farm Business Awards will once again highlight new ideas and business excellence.

Farmers and growers in Devon are encouraged to apply for one of six award categories:

  • Best Commercial Farmer
  • Best Dairy Farmer
  • Best Woman in Farming
  • The John Neason Diversification Award
  • Farming Champion
  • Best Young Farmer.

The awards are organised by a partnership of the Addington Fund, the Devon County Agricultural Association (DCAA), and Stephens Scown Solicitors. Application forms are available online at http://bit.ly/devon_awards.  Entries close on February 26.
