The Met Office has issued an amber 'be aware' warning for strong winds which will remain in force until 6pm on 8 February. There are currently 18 Environment Agency flood warnings and  30 flood alerts in place in the region, mainly along the north coasts of Devon and Cornwall, the south coast from Lyme Regis to Bournemouth and along the Upper Thames in Gloucestershire.

All rail services into and out of Cornwall have been suspended after a train crashed into a fallen tree and thousands of homes are without power.

You can find all the latest weather and flooding information in the NFU's Adverse Weather Tool Box. Or keep up to date with the latest flood warnings at the Environment Agency website.
