The NFU has lobbied for an evidence-based approach to pollinator policies, a comprehensive national pollinator and pollination monitoring programme and greater recognition for the farming industry’s work to help pollinators, for instance the 21,000 acres of floral habitat created as part of the Championing the Farmed Environment.
