Prime Minister's Questions - Wed 13 April:
Mr Norman urged the PM to meet with farmers, press the RPA on this issue and agree that interest should be paid on the amount overdue.
Mr Cameron said he’d recently met with NFU and NFU Cymru and continues to have meeting with farm businesses in own constituency.
“We must ensure that lessons on how to make the system work better in future years are properly learnt.”
He acknowledged the problems, in that 87% have been paid, but said it was no consolation for the 13% who haven’t received payments yet.
