The Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm (England) Regulations 2015 have been published in draft and are expected to come into force in England on 1 October.
In a bid to increase fire and carbon monoxide safety; these new Regulations will apply to both new and existing tenancies, so existing properties will also need to be brought up to the standards.
