Our Tenants' Market

New for this year is the ‘Tenants’ Market’. Here you’ll get the opportunity to meet NFU advisers and land agents, ask questions and learn more about the benefits of NFU membership and the services on offer for tenant farmers.

Delegates can visit in the morning prior to the conference starting and during the breaks throughout the day.

Who's going to market?

  • NFU Tenants’ Service - Jonathan Evans
  • NFU BPS Team - Richard Wordsworth, Anna Logan
  • Agri-Environment - Claire Robinson
  • Planning Issues - Suzanne Clear
  • Legal Assistance Scheme -Regina Owusu
  • NFU Regional Representation

This year’s conference takes place at the impressive Newbury Racecourse venue.

This bi-annual event organised by the NFU has built up a fantastic reputation as an unmissable day for anyone involved in the tenant farming sector.

The theme this time out is ‘Winning and Progressing in Tenant Farming’.

Speakers already confirmed include two of the NFU’s top team, Meurig Raymond and Minette Batters; the director of rural and coastal for the Crown Estate, Ken Jones; Andrew Troughton of Carver Knowles and Sam Stables, a tenant farmer on the Duchy Estate.

More NFU expertise comes from our rural surveyor, Louise Staples, and head of taxation Michael Parker.

New for this year is our Tenants' Market, giving you the chance to put your individual questions to our specialist staff.
