Workshop description – why should you attend?

This workshop presents an opportunity for all stakeholders involved in decision-making and advice about agro-chemicals applications and management to hear first about this pioneering project aiming to deliver real-time predictions of pesticide run-off risks and costs associated, and to actively influence the future functionalities and design of these proof-of-concept tools that will support more informed agro-chemical applications and management on farm and at catchment level.

To make these tools relevant, we are seeking input and feedback from arable farmers / farm managers, land managers, agronomists (East Anglia), livestock farmers (Uplands), as well as agro-chemicals suppliers providing advice, catchment advisors and other interested stakeholders working in water quality and agriculture.

At the workshop, delegates will be able to opt-in to be part of select user-group and be amongst the first to test the tools and provide valuable feedback so they are the most useful to them and tailored to their needs when planning and managing agro-chemicals applications.
