 Activity snapshot ...

3rd June 2015

As of Monday 1st June, the NFU launched a new offer exclusive to their Farmer and Grower members. This offer includes discounts on 5 new vehicle manufacturers which include Ford, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Toyota. Find the link below to see what the offer includes.

There are now less than 2 weeks remaining for farmers in England to make their 2015 Basic Payment Scheme application. The deadline for applications is midnight on 15th June 2015.

In recent weeks the NFU has vocalised about its application for a neonicotinoid derogation. This has been triggered due to a number of our members having voiced their concerns as they are unable to grow oilseed rape following the restriction of this insecticide placed in December 2013. This application mirrors the action taken by other European countries under this EU-wide ban. Please check the website for the most up to date information on this issue.

We've also got articles on the up and coming shows, a new addition to the Back British Farming campaign and as always the most up to date information on BPS.

As always your comments on Bulletin are very welcome. Have a good week.
