DECC RHI Zone returns to the Energy Now Expo

Experts from both teams will be on hand in the renewables advice clinic, where visitors can pre-arrange one-to-one appointments with the experts.

Other participants in the popular multi-streamed conference include Meurig Raymond, NFU president and Jonathan Scurlock, chief renewables adviser at the NFU; Mick Barlow from the Energy Storage Network, Louisa Coursey, small and medium wind development manager at RenewableUK; David Wright, managing director of JH Walter, Hiten Sonpal, director at Lombard Green Finance and Michele Spillar, head of renewables at the Met Office.

Topics being discussed include: the next government’s blueprint for green energy, developing micro hydropower, food vs fuel, timetable of changes to the financial incentives, a practical guide to grid connections, and much more.

Energy Now Expo is a two-day event, being held on 11th and 12th February 2015, at the Telford International Centre, Shropshire.

The 2015 event will also feature:

  • An exhibition of more than 160 product/service suppliers; where manufacturers and installers with talk through the technologies and likely returns
  • New for 2015 is a grid connection workshop, providing participants with the opportunity to discuss grid connection issues with experts;
  • A low emission vehicle zone, where electric, hydrogen, gas and other low-emission vehicles will be on show;
  • Another feature of interest is the renewables advice clinic, where experts will be on hand to discuss visitors’ projects.
