Are you heading to UK Dairy Day? Come and see the NFU situated in hall 1, stand H119 to have your questions answered and see how the organisation is working for your dairy farming business.

Visitors to the show can meet members of the NFU Dairy Board, including Chairman Michael Oakes, and hear more about the board’s strategy to promote the best of British dairy, and to build better, fairer supply chain relationships and business environments.

10.00 – 11.00: Brexit: Tori Morgan  
NFU EU Exit and International Trade Adviser Tori Morgan will be available to answer questions on the UK's withdrawal from the EU and update members on the work of the NFU Brexit team on trade, labour and domestic agricultural policy, with a focus on the dairy sector.

11.30 – 12.00: Addressing weather volatility: NFU Vice President Stuart Roberts
Stuart will discuss the impact of the recent weather conditions on the dairy sector and set out how the NFU is continuing to help farmers affected by the drought.

12- 2.00: The regulation of dairy contracts: Nina Winter  
A chance to talk to Nina Winter, NFU Chief Legal Adviser, about Defra’s commitment to regulate dairy contracts. Nina will be on hand to set out the NFU’s position on mandatory contracts and hear your views

2.30 – 3.30: TB: share your views
NFU Animal Health and Welfare Adviser, Lisa Bulcock, and members of the NFU TB Advisory Group will be on stand to share the latest on bTB and hear member views on Defra’s latest consultation on enhanced cattle measures.

3.30 – 4.30: Clean Air Strategy – NFU Response: Grace Righton
NFU Environment Adviser Grace Righton will be on hand to discuss the NFU’s response to Defra’s Clean Air Strategy and its proposal to impose environmental permitting on the dairy sector.
