NFU President Meurig Raymond has this morning appeared on BBC Radio 5 live discussing the launch of the NFU post-Brexit member consultation. He also spoke about the NFU’s response to Chancellor Philip Hammond’s statement on Saturday in which he guaranteed BPS payments until 2020, stating that he welcomed the certainty this move gives to farmers. You can listen again here (20:10). Mr Raymond is also appearing on BBC Radio 4 and the BBC News channel later today.
NFU Vice President Guy Smith also gave his response to the announcement on Saturday on BBC News 24 and BBC Radio 2 (02:01:56).
