Fluorinated Greenhouse Gas Phase Out 01 Jan 2010

One of the most common refrigerants on farm is R22 - a HCFC greenhouse gas.  EC Reg 2037/2000, banned the use of virgin HCFCs from 1 January 2010, meaning farmers are now restricted to using recovered or reclaimed refrigerant when servicing existing HCFC systems until 1 January 2015 when all HCFC use will be prohibited. read more..
