Medina Dairy appoints new Managing Director

Mr Sheldon, who will report to Chief Executive Sheazad Hussain, is a former Managing Director of Dairy Crest Dairies Division.

Commenting on the appointment, Sheazad Hussain said: “We are delighted to have appointed someone of Mike Sheldon’s calibre to the role of Managing Director.  This is an exciting time for Medina as we make good progress in delivering on our strategic development objectives and I am sure that Mike’s substantial dairy industry experience, particularly in relation to the supply of fresh milk to the major multiples, will strengthen our offer further.”

Mike Sheldon said: “Medina Dairy’s vision is to be a credible and competitive alternative in a consolidating dairy market. In this regard, Medina has already made strong progress winning major fresh milk supply contracts with the likes  of Iceland Foods and Sainsbury’s, and I look forward to building upon this positive momentum.”

Meanwhile, Medina Dairy has also announced the appointment of Mark McQuade to its sales team, while Business Development Director Shelagh Hancock will be leaving the business in March to take up a new role.
