What we do
The National Farmers' Union represents the farmers and growers of England and Wales. Its central objective is to promote successful and socially responsible agriculture and horticulture, while ensuring the long term viability of rural communities.
Brussels office
The NFU's Brussel office (Bureau de l'Agriculture Britannique - BAB) opened in 1972 to represent members of the NFU in England & Wales, NFU Scotland and Ulster Farmer's Union within the EU.
NFU Westminster
The NFU’s London Office is in Westminster near to Parliament. It houses the NFU’s Parliamentary lobbying operation as well as a small policy team which assists with policy development and the two way flow of information between government and the NFU.
Policy
Policy Services provides a wide range of expert analysis and representation on issues of critical importance to farm and horticulture businesses. Our value comes from evaluating current and forthcoming policy and legislation, interpreting their impact and developing approaches which achieve outcomes at minimal cost to NFU members. Our ability to achieve this aim depends on working with NFU members, staff and industry partners in cross-cutting issue specific working groups.
