A statement on the Highways England website says 'the scheme's aim is to improve journeys between Milton Keynes and Cambridge, bringing communities together and to support long term growth in the region.'

They have now announced a further consultation on the A428 Black Cat to Caxton Gibbet Improvement Scheme running from the 24 June to 28 July.

Highways England are currently aiming to submit an application for a Development Consent Order to the Planning Inspectorate in late 2020.

Before submitting their application, Highways England are carrying out a further consultation on changes to the development boundary and changes to the scheme design since July 2019. This includes the introduction of Borrow Pits to the scheme design.

If this affects you make sure you have your say on the consultation on the Highways England website here before 28 July.
