A sheep celebration showcasing the best British produce will be in held in Ashbourne featuring livestock, music, mouth-watering lamb and other attractions.

The third Ashbourne Sheep Fair will be held on 14 July in the town’s Market Place from 10am till 5pm and is being organised by NFU member and sheep farmer, Richard Spencer, and other volunteers.

A host of sheep breeds will be on show and there will be shearing, craft stalls, a tractor display, wool spinning, a mock auction and other fun activities!

Visitors will be able to enjoy lamb burgers, a licensed bar, live music and other entertainment throughout the day.

Visitors will find out more about sheep farming, wool, lamb and the tradition and history of the sector in Derbyshire and rest of the Midlands; the event starts at 10am.
