Meet the NFU at Brassica Week 2018

Brassica Week is a two day event across seven sites from south Boston to Spalding. It offers growers the opportunity to look at, learn about and even taste existing and new varieties of brassicas from companies such as Seminis, Rijk Zwaan, Clause, Hazera, Elsoms, Takii and Sakata. Growers are also able to find out about new products from supporting companies such as BASF, Syngenta chemicals and Yara.

The NFU has previously hosted a breakfast meeting on day 2 of Brassica Week. Last year, guest speakers looked at what the future may hold for our industry post Brexit, where we’re going with crop protection products and how the NFU is promoting British produce to retailers. Following feedback, the NFU will now be at the event itself on day one. Representatives and staff will be on hand to talk about what the NFU does and is doing on behalf of its members in this vital sector.

You can find the NFU stand at Rijk Zwaan on the A52 Swineshead
