New NFU Lancashire County Adviser - Liz Berry

The 42 year old brings a wealth of agricultural experience and contacts to the role which was recently vacated by Adam Briggs who has moved over to become the NFU North West’s Environment Adviser.

Sister of current NFU Lancashire County Chairman Olly Harrison and a familiar face in YFC circles having been a dedicated member of Rainford, Liz has spent 25 years working in various roles for Cornthwaite Agricultural covering the counties of Cheshire, Cumbria and Lancashire.

She’s been an integral part of Cornthwaite Agricultural developing from a fledgling company with 16 employees to the major company it is today employing more than 100 staff.

Via her previous job, Liz has strong ties and friendships with the agricultural community on the Isle of Man and tries to visit at least once a month.

Mum to 12 year old Henry, Liz, who started her new role on 17 September, said: “I’m really looking forward to meeting members some of whom I’m sure I’ll already know. I’m eager to start helping people with any issues they face.”
