FareShare believes that no good food should go to waste and redistributes surplus food to charities that turn it into meals.

Situated at Smithfield Market in Manchester, the charity has gained support from the likes of English professional footballer Marcus Rashford MBE, Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

NFU Communications Adviser Carl Hudspith said: "Second only to bread, the items most desired by the food banks is fresh produce such as fruit and vegetables, and that’s where we believe some of our members could help." FareShare Regional Food Sourcing and Logistics Coordinator Andrew Fowler _79420
