The Farming Community Network and Sustain/Rothschild Foundation are looking into the feasibility of creating a local food partnership. This is owing to an increase in concerns from some farmers about the pandemic and its impact on their routes to market.
Given the interest from producers and local organisations, a working group for a proposed Buckinghamshire Food Hub/Co-Op has been set up. It aims to assess whether sufficient numbers of Buckinghamshire farmers/producers would be interested in selling through a local food hub/cooperative.
Producers are asked to complete this brief initial questionnaire https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/C63XCWMand if there is sufficient interest, a more in depth consultation will follow on setting up a pilot project.
