NFU President Minette Batters told a packed house at Wiltshire's annual meeting about some of the challenges currently facing farmers, which include Brexit and the Agriculture Bill.
She also talked about the NFU’s work to bring like-minded opinion formers on board, which includes a series of roundtable meetings that include contributors like chef Henry Dimbleby and food blogger Jack Monroe.
The occasion was also an opportunity to celebrate the county’s centenary and chairman Mark Jeffery briefly recounted some of the landmarks – pointing out that TB and Europe had been discussion items for many years.

There was also a presentation by Keith Norman from remote sensing company Hummingbird.
