The NFU has joined the governments Kickstart programme and are providing an exciting 6-month placement for 16–24-year-olds in receipt of universal credit to gain valuable work experience. The NFU will support you to develop transferable skills that are aimed at increasing their chances of sustained employment.
About the role
In this exciting placement, you will support the HR team by providing an accurate and timely administrative service.
The role offers a variety of basic HR administrative tasks including recruitment administration and supporting to facilitate arrangements for booking colleagues onto training courses.
The role is very varied and tasks will consist of supporting with the management of the HR email inbox, maintaining the administration of the car log, drafting standard letters using templates, taking detailed and accurate telephone messages and emailing the query to the relevant HR team contact, ordering and maintaining new starter induction material, maintaining an accurate digital filing system of all HR documentation, photocopying, scanning and filing, distributing posters around HQ and emailing to regional colleagues, supporting and updating employee records on the HR Information System, registering and logging all invoices on the HR invoice log, opening and distributing incoming and outgoing post daily.
When needed the role will also support the HR team with project administration, ensuring sufficient levels of stationary are available within the HR team and any other administrative duties as and when needed.
This is a great opportunity to gain valuable skills & knowledge with no requirement of prior experience as full on the job training will be provided along with ongoing support throughout the placement.
