Countryside Stewardship is open for applications for multi annual agreements, mid and higher tier applications, and capital grants including water capital grants. The Mid-Tier deadline is 31 July for agreements to start on 1st January 2019. Mid-Tier application packs must be requested by 31 May 2018.
The steps set out in the member briefing are a rough guide to the completion of a mid-tier application. Plenty of time should be allowed to develop a good application.
Natural England have organised some mid-tier events to outline the scheme. These will run until the end May. In addition, one to one advice is available to talk through option choices with a follow up session available to check the completed application form before it is submitted.
