Read a summary of findings from Defra's ELMs tests and trials

Defra published its latest summary of the Environmental Land Management scheme (ELMs) tests and trials. Defra currently has 78 tests and trials, 28 of which have concluded, exploring everything from advice provision to the roll out of land management plans or payment mechanisms.

The NFU is running four ELM tests and trials. The first one, looking at how net zero practices could be incorporated into ELMs, will conclude this autumn. NFU members can log in to read about the initial findings.
