The EA think around 10% of permitted farms are in arrears and urge people not to ignore their unpaid fees. If there is a legitimate reason for falling into arrears then the EA are happy to offer an option of repaying back the fees through instalments however if ignored then this could cause exclusion from the Assurance scheme and/or a suspension of your permit.
