NRW is proposing changes to the Environmental Permitting Scheme for Intensive Farming. This includes increases to the initial application costs and to variations to permits that seek to increase the number of animals at a site. All other variations will be held at the current fee and the annual Compliance Monitoring Charge will be reduced.
