This year the industry-leading event for the Cereals sector heads to Boothby Graffoe, Lincolnshire on 12-13 June, and you can visit the NFU and NFU Mutual on Stand 331.

Day 1 - Wednesday 12 June

9.00am - 9:30am
Welcome address
: Come to the stand to hear Minette Batters, NFU President open the 2019 NFU stand and launch this year’s #YourHarvest campaign with information from Westminster as to how you can get involved.

10am - 10:45am
Preparing for Change: What’s on the Horizon
- Minette Batters, NFU President will join industry experts to look at and assess short-term and potential long-term implications for UK farming and what government and industry can do to safeguard the interests of UK agriculture. (Held in the Cereals AHDB Theatre)

10.00am -11.00am
Future Sustainable Crop Protection:
The NFU has been looking at how farming is going to meet the crop protection challenges it faces, and what its aims and ambition for future sustainable crop protection could be. Join Guy Smith, NFU Deputy President and Dr Chris Hartfield, NFU Senior Regulatory Affairs Adviser for this interactive Q&A session.

Sugar Hour
: Come along to hear the latest news from NFU Sugar and to find out the BBRO Beet Yield Challenge factory winners.

12noon - 2.00pm
Enjoy lunch and meet the combinable crops team, board members, NFU officeholders and NFU Mutual advisers.

The Future Policy Landscape:
Join Guy Smith, NFU Deputy President as he navigates future policy affecting farm businesses such as support payments, environmental and productivity schemes.

3.00pm - 4.00pm
Join us for afternoon tea and cake.

4.30pm - 5.00pm
Cereals Development Programme (CDP) reception:
  Keen to learn more about the NFU CDP? Come along and meet not only this year’s delegates, but also the previous attendees.

5.00pm - 6.30pm
Members’ and guests reception:
come and join the NFU for a British beer, Sausage rolls and live music from 3-piece function band ‘Hard to Handle’.

The Future Policy Landscape:
Join Stuart Roberts, NFU Vice-PresidentRichard Wordsworth, NFU Senior BPS Adviser and Claire Robinson, NFU Senior Countryside Adviser as they navigate future policy affecting farm businesses such as support payments, environmental and productivity schemes.

11.00am - 12noon
Future Sustainable Crop Protection:
NFU advisers will be available to discuss how farming is going to meet the crop protection challenges it faces, and what its aims and ambition for future sustainable crop protection could be.

12noon - 2.00pm
Enjoy lunch and meet the combinable crops team, board members, NFU officeholders and NFU Mutual advisers.

2.00pm - 2.45pm
The journey to Integrated Pest Management (IPM):
Emma Hamer, NFU Senior Plant Health Adviser will join this panel to discuss how much pressure the industry is under from regulation and public perception to reduce the use of conventional chemistry and will IPM be enough for farmers to demonstrate their environmental and socially responsible activity to a wider public audience. (Held in the Cereals AHDB Theatre)

2.00pm - 4.00pm
NFU advisers will be available to discuss how the NFU is working on your behalf on a range of issues.

3.00pm - 4.00pm
Join us for afternoon tea and cake.
