Flooding: Farming Recovery Fund Application Process

Flooding in the South West February 2014, Somerset Levels_20722

The RPA have confirmed today to the NFU that all applicants of the Farming Recovery Fund (FRF) should now have been contacted. The NFU advises any members who have still not received any correspondence from the RPA to contact them: ZnJmQHJwYS5nc2kuZ292LnVr.

The majority of correspondents from the RPA will be to confirm whether your application has been accepted or rejected. In a small number of cases the RPA will be asking for further information.

The FRF, set up in response to the flooding in the North of England over the winter, has experienced delays in the processing of applications by the RPA. The NFU has consistently pushed for the RPA to be transparent over the expected timeframes to process all applications. This resulted in the production of a letter on 5th May to all farmers who had still not had their application processed, explaining the current situation.

Grant Funding Agreement

The RPA will write to you to confirm whether you application for the farming recovery fund has been approved. If your application is successful, you will receive a grant funding agreement. See the NFU’s briefing on some points to consider when receiving your grant funding agreement to ensure funding is released.

If you have any questions regarding your grant funding agreement, contact the RPA: ZnJmQHJwYS5nc2kuZ292LnVr .
