Taking place between 0930 and 1300, the workshop will use an online platform to enable participants to see live presentations, join group discussions and network with each other. It will cover digestate uses, effects on soil, land-banking, enhancement technology, appeal to farmers, agronomy, post-harvest applications, regulations and ammonia emissions.
The NFU is promoting an interactive online workshop on "Digestates: How to get the most from them" on Thursday 28th May. This is a Learning and Development event organised by the Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA).
Digestate is an inevitable by-product of the anaerobic digestion process, but it can be turned into an asset that can cut costs and even drive profits.
