Free Future Farming Resilience webinars

The Government has pledged to provide resilience support help farmers in England transition away from direct payments. In February 2020 £1 million of funding was released to fund pilot projects across England to help Defra better understand what business and wellbeing support is needed to support farmers during the early years of transition, how support can be delivered and how it can be scaled up.

Ricardo-AEA is one of the organisations commissioned by Defra to run a pilot project and they are holding resilience planning webinars open to farmers in Yorkshire, Herefordshire, North Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire on:

Tuesday 27 October 10.00 to 12.00

Tuesday 27 October 14.00 to 16.00

Thursday 29 October 19.00 to 21.00

In conjunction with Andersons the webinars will:

  • introduce tools and tips on reviewing business performance
  • give insight on future changes to agricultural policy
  • give an overview on the opportunities and threats change will bring
  • discuss the impacts of the ending of direct payments
