Alltyfyrddin Farm Wales_66492

Background

Since July, NFU members up and down the country have looked into and applied for rural development monies under the Countryside Productivity Scheme Round 2.

During this time the NFU has been proactively involved with this scheme.

The NFU is keen to see where further improvements can be made for Round 3, which is expected to be launched in late 2020, so now is your chance to help influence the future round of this popular scheme. If you have any feedback, please read on.

Submitting feedback

We are seeking both ‘good’ and ‘bad’ feedback on Round 2 of the scheme as this will help us in raising member concerns with the RPA and Defra.

For example, opinions on the following areas:

  • Scheme guidance (was it helpful, too much, what about the flow diagram, what about evidence requirements)
  • Process steps (online application / agreement confirmation via the online portal / time limit on claiming following acceptance and handling of claims)
  • Support given by the RPA to your concerns (how did you find the email and dedicated phone service or RPA proactively contacting applicants)
  • What was easy / straightforward?
  • What could be improved?
  • How did you find out about the scheme?
  • Views on this type of scheme continuing if we leave the EU?

Please send your feedback on the Countryside Productivity Small Grants scheme to RmVlZGJhY2tDUFNHQG5mdS5vcmcudWs= by Monday 6 January.
